From Tesero start you actually on 3 Passo's simultaneously, Lavaze Pramadiccio and Compeago.
You can still choose on the way so! Once out of the village and it goes immediately into the height, with me it is very hot and then the sun has free play on this side.
A storm has broken down many trees in 2021 so wind and sun have free play.
After a few kilometers you meander through the woods and suddenly you're on the Pramadicio, if you don't pay attention you fly right past the col sign.
The road flattens a bit and it even goes downhill a bit. The profile has already given it away, the misery lies ahead of you, the right turn is sharp but then the Lavaze pass shows its teeth.
Sit (or stand!) for the next 3 km because your altimeter shows few parts with percentages below 10. The view is somewhat dulled by the storm. The road has no real curves and you look into the abyss beside you as if you hope you disappear into it....
At the top there is a village and you can go even further up, my legs tell me to go right because the descent that follows is wonderful.
A climb with two faces and a tough finish.
Vanuit Tesero start je eigenlijk op 3 Passo's tegelijk; Lavaze Pramadiccio en Compeago.
Je kunt onderweg nog kiezen dus! Eenmaal uit het dorp en het gaat meteen de hoogte in, bij mij is het erg warm en dan heeft de zon vrij spel aan deze kant.
Een storm heeft veel bomen doen afbreken in 2021 zodat wind en zon vrij spel hebben.
Na een paar kilometer meander je door de bossen en opeens ben je op de Pramadicio, als je niet oplet vlam je zo voorbij het col bord.
Het vlakt even af en het gaat zelfs ietwat naar beneden. Het profiel heeft het al verraden, de ellende ligt voor je, de bocht naar rechts is scherp maar dan laat de Lavaze pas zijn tanden zien.
Ga er de komende 3 kilometer maar voor zitten ( of staan!) want je hoogtemeter geeft weinig stukken met percentages onder de 10 aan. Door de kaalslag van de storm is het uitzicht ietwat saai. De weg heeft eigenlijk gaan echte bochten en je kijkt de afgrond naast je in alsof je hoopt dat je erin verdwijnt....
Boven is een dorpje en kun je nog verder naar boven, mijn benen zeggen ga maar rechts af want de afdaling die volgt is heerlijk.
