Nice climb that maintains a constant percentage and doesn't leave you with any surprises. What makes the climb tough is that it is full in the sun and there are almost no sections where you cycle in the shade.
Road surface is very good (same goes for the other side, towards Tione) and at the top there are picnic benches under the trees.
Tip: make a round trip by descending to Tione di Trento and cycling along the top (other side of the river) back to Ponte Arche, via Stenico. This is a nice route with little traffic.
Leuke klim die een constant percentage aanhoudt en je niet voor verrassingen laat staan. Wat de klim zwaar maakt is dat deze vol in de zon ligt en er bijna geen stukken zijn waar je in de schaduw fietst.
Wegdek is zeer goed (zelfde geldt voor de andere zijde, richting Tione) en bovenaan zijn picknickbanken onder de bomen aanwezig.
Tip: ronde maken door naar Tione di Trento af te dalen en bovenlangs (andere kant van de rivier) terug te fietsen naar Ponte Arche, via Stenico. Dit is een mooie route met weinig verkeer.
What I would like to add is that you can tap holy water at the fountain of Saint Bartolomae about 1 km. From the pass.
Tip for a round trip: take the beautiful road from Preore to Tavodo. Hardly any through traffic comes here and is already higher up as you go ri Molveno. Quiet therefore and you can take in the scenery.
Wat ik nog wil toevoegen is dat je heilig water kunt tappen aan de fontein van de heilige Bartolomae ongeveer 1 km. Van de pas.
Tip voor een rondtocht: neem de schitterende weg van Preore naar Tavodo. Hier komt nauwelijks doorgaand verkeer en is al hoger gelegen als je ri Molveno gaat. Rustig dus en je kunt de omgeving in je opnemen.
Beautiful climb with gradients that are never hard, excellent road surface, busy but not overly so once you have passed the summit, the road surface to Tione is also excellent.
