Once you get to Prato Barbieri you can stop for a coffee (or not haha) before proceeding to Passo Santa Franca. The last stretch of road is mostly in the forest and in the fields, not too difficult. The climb from Bettola is on a road that could be better in terms of surface. Not too much traffic, but I prefer the other climbs to reach Prato Barbieri (for example via Sartori or from Gropparello).

Once you get to Prato Barbieri you can stop for a coffee (or not haha) before proceeding to Passo Santa Franca. The last stretch of road is mostly in the forest and in the fields, not too difficult. On the way you can see the Sanctuary to Santa Franca which gives the name to the pass itself.
