Nice climb on leaving Auronzo di Cadore. The first few hundred metres are not too bad, but from the moment you cycle parallel to the water, the climb is brisk. The 16 hairpin bends are numbered and follow each other in quick succession. The road runs largely through the forest, allowing you to finish the climb in shelter. The asphalt has recently been renewed and is in excellent condition. Traffic is limited. A few kilometres further south is a long tunnel to drive from Auronzo di Cadore to the Padola valley as well.
Verkeer is beperkt.
