This climb is a lot of fun. Many hairpin bends, not too steep and many views. The big problem of this climb is the crowd. The road on which you drive is the main road from Bolzano to the villages in the Fiemme Valley. Although the cars give you space, the traffic is so heavy that it takes the fun out of it. If you go early in the day, it is probably better.
At the end of the day you cycle the first half in the open sun and have no shade. Make sure you cool down at a fountain before you start the 15 km climb when it is hot. At the top you will find two fountains in quick succession to cool down.
Without the traffic, this climb easily gets four stars. As I rode it today, I give no more than three.
