The queen of the Little Dolomites, a lady climb to be respected from the first kilometre, I have been tackling it since I was a kid and every time I have had to earn the summit. I have done many climbs (Zoncolan, Mortirolo, Gavia, .), for me it has always been my test and I have coined this label "If you can do Campogrosso well you can do any climb". Road with little traffic and road surface in good condition. Natural scenery from start to finish with several fountains along the way (the last one is at the Guardia refuge after which there is only the Campogrosso refuge at the top). For an average cyclist, recommended gears 34-28/30 if you don't want to get into a crisis, especially in the section before Merendaore and after the refuge alla Guardia. In summer, since many sections are exposed to the sun, I recommend doing it in the morning or evening. Good cycling to all.

Buona pedalata a tutti.
