A mio avviso salita impegnativa. Il pezzo davvero duro arriva una volta superato il bivio per Montallegro: da lì al passo la pendenza non è mai sotto il 9% (unica consolazione ombra e asfalto ottimo).
La strada è poco trafficata e tutto sommato asfaltata in maniera discreta.
Una volta arrivati in cima non è presente niente per ristorarsi e se si sceglie di scendere verso Coreglia Ligure la discesa è molto ripida e abbastanza tecnica.
