Particolarmente bella la parte da Terrinca al Passo Croce. L'asfalto è stato rifatto in varie parti ma ci sono ancora parti del pezzo finale in condizioni scarse. Bello il panorama arrivati al passo. Nel tratto finale (ultimi 6 km) il traffico è praticamente inesistente salvo qualche sporadico camion diretto alle cave del Corchia. Gli ultimi 6 km sono il cuore di questa salita e in questi km non ci sono tratti dove poter riprendere fiato.
