The col starts in Aouste and doesn't suggest that it is such a beautiful climb but after 1.5 km the scenery changes completely and you are amazed how beautiful the Drome is. Especially the penultimate km, which has an average of 10％ and peaks of 15％ is beautiful. The climb starts slowly with averages of 2 to 4％ but at 3 km from the top it gets quite tough.
