This beautiful climb starts in the village of Ried. The road is in good condition and fairly quiet. There is only local traffic. Soon after leaving the village it goes steep up. The first part you ride through a forest, after which it goes up with a number of hairpin bends. Alternately you ride through the forest and in open fields, overlooking the valley. The climb ends at the Gasthof Stallhäusl.
