"The Paddestraat". You don't like doing it, and yet you come back to it every year in spring because it remains the opener of the cycling season after all. Often you can opt for the gutter, but it's not really necessary.

Done in the Ronde van Flaanderen edition of 2024 (159km). Basically, it is a flat area full of very annoying stones: I lost my saddle gear bag due to the vibrations, the zip opened and I sowed gear tubes

Beautiful climb (or say cobbled). Known from the Ronde van Vlaanderen and Omloop het Nieuwsblad, among others, but in reverse. Because of the long distance and cobblestones, you hardly notice it's a climb, you're mainly concerned with maintaining speed and steering towards the most comfortable sections. Here and there you may seek the gutter but the cobbles are in good shape so feel free to give them a chance :) Occasional downhill sections allow you to take the tension off your legs for a while. This was certainly welcome! Personally, the Paddestraat also feels heavier than 13 climbing points.
