Beater of a climb. Cramp is not surprising when you have to negotiate the steep sections at the start. Through the vineyards, it remains irregular raking uphill. At the top no more views a quick descent to the valley.
Beuker van een klim. Kramp is niet gek als je de steile stroken aan het begin moet bedwingen. Door de wijngaarden blijft het onregelmatig harken naar boven. Op de top geen uitzicht meer een snelle afdaling naar het dal.
Steep, fun, quiet track. The road surface is good. You can go back down via another road and cycle a nice lap.
Steil, leuk, rustige baan. Het wegdek ligt goed. Je kan via een andere weg terug naar beneden en een mooi rondje fietsen.
Mean climb, maybe not handy to do first after months of not cycling, but I stay in Ovronnaz, so if you are down. The view is fantastic, but the road is really not smooth anymore, lots of holes and emergency repairs. Going down shakes you off the bike.
Gemene klim, mss niet handig om als eerste te doen na maanden niet fietsen, maar ik verblijf in Ovronnaz, dus als je beneden bent. Het uitzicht is fantastisch, maar de weg is echt niet strak meer, veel gaten en noodreparaties. Naar beneden schud je van de fiets.
This climb is a killer, starting from leyton you drive on a steep but very nice road through the vineyards to the top. Because the mountain is climbed from the south, you ride constantly in the sun. So I drank a lot of water.
Deze klim is een Killer, vertrokken vanuit leyton rij je over een steile maar hele mooie weg door de wijngaarden naar boven. Omdat de berg vanuit de zuidkant beklommen wordt rijd je voortdurend in de zon. Heb dan ook vele bidons water leeg gedronken.
