If I have to compare this climb to the rest of Cuesta van het Waasland, it definitely gets 4 stars. Nice climb, good road surface. You reach the top at a bridge over the E17 but it has a green verge with flowers (see photo). This is followed by a small section of fine gravel through the forest, though. Doable on a road bike (28 mm tyres I had). In short: easy and fun climb, my climbing time includes a break for some photos's.... read more

Pleasant climb over good road surface - even the gravel bike path at the end is fine. Quiet surroundings and a few turns finish it off.

Very nice climb - not difficult at all. Hugely quiet, very nice scenery and nice tarmac (something that is often a problem with climbs in the area). You cross the E17 at the end to then take another stretch of gravel road - this is very doable on a course bike, though.
