On our bike trip to explore the area, we wanted to go through Sunnmørsalpane. We did not pay attention to this climb though, until we saw it. Since most of the climb is straight, you can see most of the elevation from a distance, which is really daunting, even for a hill this size.
Beware that the road behind is is unpaved/has compacted gravel. It is doable by road bike, but don't expect to go fast or get through without a few pebbles hitting your frame.
