Short climb with quite a bit of punch. It helps to build up some momentum at the start and then especially hold on until past the turn. From there it does get tricky.
Korte klim met behoorlijk wat pit. Het helpt om wat momentum op te bouwen in het begin en dan vooral volhouden tot voorbij het bochtje. Vanaf daar wordt het wel lastig.

The classic Nokereberg. Bad cobbles, but once launched and sustained to the top, you're off within half a minute. Must have done it once, but once is good enough. The Holstraat on the other side is more pleasant (a bit steeper, good road surface and no cobbles!).
De klassieker Nokereberg. Slechte kasseien, maar eens gelanceerd en volhoudend tot boven, ben je er binnen een half minuutje van af. Moet je eens gedaan hebben, maar één keer is goed genoeg. De Holstraat aan de overkant is plezanter (wat steiler, goed wegdek en geen kasseien!)
This is mostly a piece of heritage. Slightly uphill cobbles through a beautifully situated village. It never gets really steep and the cobbles are actually only 350-400m long but because of the cobbles you still need good power. It really is typically an uphill sprint.
Dit is vooral een stukje erfgoed. Licht oplopende kasseitjes doorheen een prachtig gelegen dorpje. Het wordt nooit echt steil en de kasseien zijn eigenlijk maar 350-400m lang maar door de kasseien heb je toch goed vermogen nodig. Het is echt typisch een sprint bergop.
Nice climb because of its recognisability from the race (Nokere Koerse). As the icing on the cake, the finish line of that race is also waiting at the top, so you can blast your way to the top and dream of victory :) Hands in the air I wouldn't recommend because you do end up at a crossroads :D
Leuke klim door de herkenbaarheid uit de koers (Nokere Koerse). Als kers op de taart ligt de aankomststreep van die koers ook boven te wachten dus kan je nog even vol naar boven vlammen en dromen van een overwinning :) Handen in de lucht zou ik niet aanraden want je komt wel op een kruispunt terecht :D

Great climb through the picturesque town of Nokere. The climb is very short and therefore ideal to give full petrol from start to finish! The cobblestones are in excellent condition, so no reason to ride in the gutter ;-).
Toffe klim doorheen het pitoreske Nokere. De klim is erg kort en dus ideaal om van begin tot einde volle petrol te geven! De kasseien liggen er uitstekend bij, geen enkele reden dus om in het gootje te rijden ;-).
Excellent mountain for the beginner who wants to do a cobblestone climb. Not too steep, only 300 m long with perfect cobblestones on a wide surface. For the more experienced cyclist it's perfect to go up with the big outer blade, especially if you've been able to gain some speed in the previous descent.
Make sure you stop at the church and explore the surrounding area, very beautiful with some nice not too difficult climbs. Nokere itself is a charming little village, actually more of a hamlet. You can also do the signposted Kordaal hiking trail with nice views of the castle.
Uitstekend bergje voor de beginner die eens een kasseiklim wenst te doen. Niet overdreven steil, slechts een dikke 300 m lang met perfect liggende kasseien over een breed wegdek. Voor de meer ervaren fietser perfect om op het grote buitenblad naar boven te knallen, zeker als je al met de voorafgaande afdaling wat snelheid hebt kunnen maken.
Zeker ook eens halt houden aan het kerkje en de omliggende streek verkennen, heel mooi met nog enkele leuke niet te lastige klimmetjes. Nokere zelf is een charmant klein dorpje, eigenlijk meer een gehucht. Men kan er ook de bewegwijzerde Kordaal wandelroute doen met mooie uitzichten op het kasteel.
Nice slope that looks a bit like a ramp. Because of the downhill before you can start this climb with a lot of speed. After the junction you can try to maintain that pace purely on strength. You are at the top before you know it.
Located in a beautiful area, definitely worthwhile to cycle in this region.
Leuke helling die een beetje lijkt op een schans. Door de voorafgelegen afdaling kan je met flink wat snelheid aan deze klim beginnen. Na het kruispuntje kan je dan puur op kracht dat tempo proberen aan te houden. Je bent boven voor je het weet.
Ligt in een prachtige wijde omgeving, zeker de moeite waard om in deze streek te fietsen.
