Nice little climb from Aalbeek to Schimmert. Most of the pain is in the first 250 metres. After that it is basically false flat. If you have a headwind then it is quite a struggle on the open plain to move forward and keep up the speed.
Leuk klimmetje van Aalbeek naar Schimmert. De meeste pijn zit in de eerste 250 meter. Daarna is het eigenlijk vals plat. Als je wind tegen hebt dan is het op de open vlakte nog flink buffelen om vooruit te komen en de vaart erin te houden..
Small and funny climb between Aalbeek and Schimmert. Not a big well-known climb from cycling races but still funny to come across. You cycle up between the trees and arrive at the top among the meadows with a view of Schimmert. On power, you get to the top quickly. With a strong westerly wind, you can have a tough time on top.
Klein en grappig klimmetje tussen Aalbeek en Schimmert. Geen grote bekende klim uit de wielerkoersen maar toch wel grappig om tegen te komen. Je fiets tussen de bomen omhoog en komt boven tussen de weilanden met zicht op Schimmert. Op de macht ben je snel boven. Met sterke westenwind kun je het bovenop nog wel even zwaar krijgen.
Not many points but actually this is not an unpleasant climb at all. Good tarmac and beautiful surroundings. Behind nice view into the valley and at the end nice forward towards the church of Schimmert. And the first part is nice up too.
Niet veel punten maar eigenlijk is dit helemaal geen onaardig klimmetje. Goed asfalt en een mooie omgeving. Achterom aardig uitzicht het dal in en op het eind leuk vooruit richting de kerk van Schimmert. En het eerste deel gaat nog leuk omhoog ook.
