The first ascent from the beautiful village centre of Koeneliemünster, as already described, can be very confusing and therefore also dangerous. The road is also relatively busy.
Anstieg aus dem schönen Dorfzentrum von Koeneliemünster, wie schon beschrieben kann es sehr unübersichtlich werden und somit auch gefährlich. Zudem ist die Straße relativ stark befahren.
Small climb on a bicycle path along a through road that is short but nevertheless tough. At the end, just after the traffic lights and if you want to go in the direction of Brand, it becomes a bit vague: either cross at the traffic lights and then follow the footpath on the other side (bikes allowed) or go up the road and in or after the descent cross to the cycle path on the left. The climb is not worth detouring for, but you will soon catch it.
Klein klimmetje over een fietspad langs een doorgaande weg die kort maar toch even pittig is. vanwege de bebouwing zie je de weg mooi stijgen. Op het eind, net na de stoplichten en als je richting Brand wilt , wordt het een beetje vaag: of bij stoplichten oversteken en dan aan de overkant het voetpad (fietsen gedoogd) volgen of de weg op en in of na de afdaling oversteken naar het fietspad links. De klim is omrijden niet waard maar pak je al snel vanzelf mee.
