The first 900m are not much. The real ascent starts after 900 m, at the bend to the left. Past the cemetery, turn right into a traffic-free narrower road. From there, the condition of the road surface is less good. From the last 200 m you get a nice view of the surroundings: Hallerbos on the right and Lembeek (Halle) straight ahead.
De eerste 900 m stellen niet veel voor. De echte beklimming start na 900 m, aan de bocht naar links. Voorbij de begraafplaats sla je rechts een verkeersluwe smallere weg in. Vanaf daar is de staat van het wegdek minder goed. Vanaf de laatste 200 m krijg je een mooi uitzicht op de omgeving: rechts Hallerbos en rechtuit Lembeek (Halle).
Take the track on the right in the little valley between Klabbeek and Lembeek. The first part up to the cemetery is easy to negotiate on the big plateau and is not really counted as an ascent. Having arrived at the cemetery the trail turns left and immediately climbs steeply on a narrow track (watch out for oncoming traffic). The really strong guys can really make a difference at the top. At the top you have a beautiful view on Halle and you can descend the Boslaan in the direction of Lembeek village or follow the Kasteelbrakelsesteenweg to the right.
Neem de baan rechts in het dalletje tussen Klabbeek en Lembeek. Het eerste deel tot aan de begraafplaats is gemakkelijk op de grote plateau te bedwingen en wordt niet echt bij de beklimming gerekend. Bij de begraafplaats aangekomen naar links waar het meteen steil klimmen op een smal baantje is (opgelet voor tegenliggers). De echt sterke mannen kunnen boven nog een tandje bijschakelen en echt verschil maken. Boven heb je een prachtig uitzicht op Halle en kan je de Boslaan afdalen richting Lembeek dorp of rechts volgen om de Kasteelbrakelsesteenweg er meteen bij te nemen.
