Nice Ardennes climb from Krinkelt to Mürringen. From Krinkelt, you first descend a bit and after the bridge over the Holzwarche the climb starts. The first kilometre gives a gradient between 4 and 8%. From the first houses of Mürringen it is false flat until the top.

When you descend from Krinkelt to the start of this climb, you can see most of the slope in front of you and you know it is going to be a good one. No extreme percentages but you have to keep up the pressure for quite a bit. After reaching the built-up area, the going gets lighter but the preceding part makes itself felt. You ride on a wider connecting road with reasonable to good tarmac (some cracks along the edge) which is otherwise very quiet in terms of traffic.

Mooie omgeving.
