This climb is a hidden gem, as many in the Region Abruzzo. Car traffic is practically inexistent and the panorama, while crossing a typical italian village is wonderful. It’s located 50km (circa) away from the sea side and one can ride it as part of an interesting loop from the beach to the mountains and back. However, you must pay attention to the imperfect condition of the road and to the possibility of shepherd dogs that may be aggressive.
