This one's pretty spicy!
The gradients are really serious and they don't let up for more than four kilometres, which seem endless.
Especially as by the time you reach Le Prieuré, the starting point, you've already climbed a succession of very colourful steep sections...
The road is rough for the first few hectometres, then suddenly you find yourself on a new, flawless surface.
Be warned: this is the domain of the sheep and the patous.
You have to go past the farm to the car park.
Just before you reach the top, there's a view of the Mediterranean and the coastline.
The descent is torrid!
Watch out for the straightaways!

Celui-ci est plutôt épicé !
Les pourcentages sont vraiment sérieux et ils ne faiblissent pas durant plus de quatre kilomètres, qui du coup semblent interminables.
D’autant que pour arriver au Prieuré, le point de départ, on a déjà grimpé une succession de raidillons bien colorés…
La route est dégradée sur les premiers hectomètres puis, subitement, on se retrouve sur un revêtement neuf et irréprochable.
Pas de circulation sur cette petite route.
Là-haut, vous êtes prévenus : c’est le domaine des moutons et des patous. Le message est parfaitement clair (photo).
Il faut dépasser la ferme et aller jusqu’au parking.
Un peu avant d’arriver au sommet, une vue sur la Méditerranée et le littoral.
La descente est torride !

Road recently resurfaced, in great condition and fairly even gradient. By far the most difficult climb I've ever made.
Route refaite récemment, en super état et pente assez régulière. De loin l'ascencion la plus difficile que j'ai pu faire.
