From here take the flat smooth B road north, wind through the village and leaving it tackle the steepest section, marked 14% on the sign. After that it is easier and a false summit before further climbing to highest point at a road junction/hamlet. Lovely surface and not much traffic when I was there, unlike the nasty A road just south of Hop Pocket. Scenery quite modest.... read more
