A climb on a cycle path along a through but not too busy road. In the beginning, it goes up nicely. After the bend, the road flattens out but you can see the road going up again later on. Good road surface (in the beginning well laid bricks and afterwards good tarmac) and green surroundings.
Extra bonus point (can be both a plus and a minus ;-)): The last part of the climb is exactly in line with the very nearby Geilenkirchen airbase and a low flying AWACS is particularly impressive both in terms of sight and hearing.
Een klim over een fietspad langs een doorgaande maar niet al te drukke weg. In het begin loopt het even lekker omhoog. Na de bocht wordt het duidelijk vlakker maar je ziet de weg verderop wel weer mooi verder omhoog lopen. Goed wegdek (in het begin goed gelegde klinkers en daarna prima asfalt) en een groene omgeving.
Extra bonuspunt (kan zowel een plus- als een minpunt zijn ;-)): Het laatste deel van de klim ligt precies in het verlengde van de zeer dichtbij gelegen luchtmachtbasis Geilenkirchen en een laag overvliegende AWACS is zowel qua zicht als gehoor bijzonder imposant.
