The climb starts from the main road between Hahn and Breinig. It first goes up for a few hundred metres and then flattens/descends a bit. After this, you go up steadily for a kilometre without any real difficulty. At the end, the climb flattens out. Three stars for the climb but the road surface is in dire need of replacement.
De klim start vanaf de doorgaande weg tussen Hahn en Breinig. Het gaat eerst een paar honder meter omhoog en vlakt/daalt daarna wat af. Hierna ga je een kilometer gestaag omhoog zonder dat het echt lastig wordt. Op het einde vlakt de klim af. Drie sterren voor de klim maar het wegdek is dringend aan vervanging toe.
From the roundabout, the road climbs steadily up to the first bend, followed by a short descent. The route then continues relatively steadily at around 7 per cent through the beautiful village, albeit on poor asphalt and with moderate traffic.
Ab dem Kreisverkehr geht es stetig bis zur ersten Kurve bergauf, worauf eine kleine Abfahrt kommt. Dann geht es bei ca. 7 Prozent relativ konstant durch den schönen Ort, allerdings auf schlechtem Aspahlt und mit mäßigem Verkehr.
A winding climb through the main street of Venwegen with lots of old and beautiful houses. Just before you enter the village and the swing at the war monument are the steepest parts but nowhere it gets really hard. In some places bad tarmac, especially due to badly filled gullies.
Slingerende klim door de hoofdstraat van Venwegen met veel oude en mooie huizen. Vlak voordat je het dorp ingaat en de slinger bij het oorlogsmonument zijn de steilste stukken maar nergens wordt het echt pittig. Op sommige plaatsen slecht asfalt, vooral door slecht gevulde dwarsgeulen.
