Pretty tough climb given the through road you cycle next to, on a mostly excellent tarmac cycle path. In doing so, you climb up through green surroundings. In the built-up area, the cycle path becomes a cobbled pavement and slightly more undulating due to the entrances but it remains good cycling. The cycle path continues to climb until just before the roundabout.
Best stevige klim gezien de - zeker op een mooie zondag drukke - doorgaande weg waar je naast fietst, over een voor het grootste deel uitstekend asfaltfietspad. Hierbij klim je door een groene omgeving omhoog. In de bebouwde kom wordt het fietspad een klinkerstoep en iets golvender vanwege de inritten maar het blijft goed te fietsen. Het fietspad blijft stijgen tot vlak voor de rotonde.
A long, but also quite boring climb on a pavement next to a busy main road. It's ok, but nothing more.
Zwar ein langer, aber auch recht langweiliger Aufstieg auf einem Gehweg neben einer strak befahrenen Bundesstraße. Es ist ok mehr aber auch nicht.
