Not the most spectacular climb (as views are few) but certainly a challenging one and one that passes through some nice greenery. Some nice views over Bernkastel at the start before the road climbs up a valley between rocks with some slight swings. This road can be fairly busy but as soon as you turn right towards Monzelfeld the crowds stop. But not the slope as this stretch is overall just a bit steeper than the first section. After a while you leave the forest and you see Monzelfeld but don't think you're already there by then because the last part is still steeply uphill - also in built-up areas - until just before the end.
Niet de meest spectaculaire klim (want uitzicht is er weinig) maar zeker een uitdagende en één die door een mooi groene omgeving loopt. In het begin nog even leuk uitzicht over Bernkastel waarna de weg tussen rotsen door een dal omhoog gaat met enkele lichte slingers. Deze weg kan redelijk druk zijn maar zodra je rechtsaf richting Monzelfeld gaat houdt de drukte op. Maar niet de helling want dit stuk is overall net wat steiler als het eerste gedeelte. Na een tijd ga je het bos uit en zie je Monzelfeld liggen maar denk niet dat je er dan al bent want het laatste stuk loopt nog stevig omhoog - ook in de bebouwde kom - tot vlak voor het eind.
