Very wooded climb with quite a history (they fought long and hard here in WW1) There are few places with views unfortunately but if you are close (in Rovereto) and have little time this is the best option in the area.

Done this (dead end) climb in blazing heat of August 2021.
Since it was one of the few climbs I hadn't done in that region, it had to go up once.
To cut to the chase, it is by far the "ugliest" climb in the region.
The first few kilometers are tough and you cycle full in the sun out of the civilized world. Then you dive into the woods and there is little left of the views.
At 11km you come to a viewpoint in a hairpin bend which makes you forget this and you look out over the valley of Rovereto and the surrounding mountains.
In the last kilometers you come more often in open areas and you know that the end is near.
The climb ends where the road turns into unpaved, here you can sit down on the terrace of the restaurant that lies there.
The big minus is the few views along the way.
Plus points, the restaurant at the top, the virtually no traffic and it is still a huge climb if you look purely at the numbers.
