Very steep and hard gravel climb in beautiful Tuscan scenery. The 'Strade Bianche' pro race has seen many decisive attacks on these slopes. Only a must do if you are not afraid to be banged up a bit, similar to riding up and down cobblestones. It is possible with a road bike for the full experience, but if you like a bit more comfort you can opt for a gravel or mountain bike.
