Beautiful. You climb up from the Torreglia cemetery, immediately with a challenging gradient and apart from a few short resting stretches you cover more than two kilometres, always around 10% The asphalt is in excellent condition, the pass is punctuated by the isolated presence of villas, refuges and restaurants, and the conclusion overlooks the access gate to the famous Hermitage of Monte Rua, a monastery that is still inhabited and is only accessible on certain days and at certain times (it ... read more

This is one of the more challenging climbs in the Colli Euganei. The slope is fairly consistent at 9–11%, and the road surface is excellent, except for a 100–200 metre stretch of coarse-grained asphalt in the middle and the final 'ramp' leading to the monastery. The main advantage is the lack of traffic, which makes for a peaceful ride through the trees. A must for everyone!

Beautiful. You climb up from the Torreglia cemetery, immediately with a challenging gradient and apart from a few short resting stretches you cover more than two kilometres, always around 10% The asphalt is in excellent condition, the pass is punctuated by the isolated presence of villas, refuges and restaurants, and the conclusion overlooks the access gate to the famous Hermitage of Monte Rua, a monastery that is still inhabited and is only accessible on certain days and at certain times (it is a good idea to telephone if you want to enter).
Beautiful paths for walkers branch off around the summit of the Colle.
The thick vegetation prevents the road cyclist from enjoying the panorama. As it is not a transit road, the traffic is really limited and the silence an excellent companion for the spirit.

Bellissima.
