In september deze beklimming gedaan en naar het hoogste (fietsbare) punt van Elba is de moeite waard. De klim ligt helemaal tussen de bomen, goed tegen de zon en goed asfalt. In het begin even aanzetten, maar dan loopt de klim geleidelijk omhoog.
Wel opletten in het najaar voor de kastanje bolsters die op de weg kunnen liggen.
