Did the climb from Valdobbiadene via Pianezze. Quite a nice introduction climbing through the trees at a reasonable gradient. The road flattens out after the turn to Monte Cesen so gives time to recover. The last few Kms are a slog and the road surface deteriorates. The views from the top are spectacular especially on a clear day the peaks of the dolomites are visible. Did the climb from Valdobbiadene via Pianezze. Quite a nice introduction climbing through the trees at a reasonable gradient. The road flattens out after the turn to Monte Cesen so gives time to recover. The last few Kms are a slog and the road surface deteriorates. The views from the top are spectacular especially on a clear day the peaks of the dolomites are visible. Can be a lot of cars on a summers day so I descended via Combai which is quieter though has very tight hairpins and a sometimes terrible road surface
