It's the easiest way to reach the "Cava di Lozzo" a beautiful vantage point, although very popular at weekends. On Monte di Lozzo, this is the highest altitude that can be reached by road bike. To climb further to the summit, there is a stony path that can only be done on foot or, at the limit, by mountain bike.
The climb starts right in the centre of the village, and climbs quite steadily until it enters a wooded area where the gradients exceed 10% without ever becoming prohibitive. The asphalt is mediocre, mainly due to the presence of a couple of very short stone sections and coarse gravel in the lower area. Therefore, great care must be taken when descending.
The traffic is moderate, as it is not possible to go beyond the quarry and neither are there any parking or refreshment facilities.

Quindi in discesa occorre fare molta attenzione.
