A beautiful and worthy climb. The only advice: if you do it with a bdc, better to do it with dry asphalt.
Una salita bella e degna di rispetto. L'unico consiglio:se si fa con la bdc meglio farla con asfalto asciutto.
[Worth noting: this route is Stage 14 of the incredible "Via Silente" in Cilento. Worth doing most of this 600km ride.]
I rode this beautiful climb in Feb 2022 -- not the ideal time to ride it :-). I began from a slightly different area -- what this map doesn't account for is that you'll prob have a lot more elevation from wherever you start, as you need to climb from most places just to get to this starting point. This climb is long and has a couple sections that feel very tough -- the 9-10km section on this map in particular has an average 13% grade and was a bear for a road bike with a 50-34 / 11-28 gearing. There are a few "break" stretches tho to help you get some wind.
It was 10C/50F at the beginning of the ride but -1C/30F at the top. I had to dismount my bike with 1 kilometer left on the climb because the road was covered in snow and impassable with 25mm road tires.
