Beautiful climb through the forests on etna. just try to do this climb during the week. I myself did it on a Sunday and then there are a lot of motorcyclists on this road which sometimes makes you feel a bit unsafe.
The part just before Piano Provenzano is very steep and is a heavy blow after about's 17 km of climbing.
What a stunning climb with a brand new road with no other road users! This side of Etna is actually much prettier than the southern side due to the forests.
