Climbing from this side makes you ride over a busy road before Castel del Piano. But as soon as you’ve passed by the village the road becomes quiet and you will have some nice views. The climb is only lots harder then the profile seems to show. Especially the last km’s before the first ski lifts has ％ till 20％. The average there is 13, but it fluctuates between 4 and 20 for a long time. The surface is not great, uphill ok(ish).
