The 19% sign at the start is richly exaggerated but you can see immediately that it is steep...and that steepness continues curve after curve throughout the climb. A kind of extreme runner, then, with the houses on either side nicely indicating the gradient. You don't have to do it for the scenery but it is a really fun challenge.
Het bord 19% bij het begin is rijkelijk overdreven maar dat het steil is zie je wel meteen...en die steilheid gaat bocht na bocht door gedurende de hele klim. Een soort extreme loper dus, waarbij de huizen aan weerszijden mooi de helling aangeven. Voor de omgeving hoef je het niet te doen maar het is wel een erg leuke uitdaging.
Not a nice climb between the typical Walloon buildings, but it does offer a view of Verviers.
Geen mooie klim tussen typisch Waalse bebouwing, maar het levert je wel een uitzicht over Verviers op.
