Mont Saint Odile is a pretty little climb that is a must'do. The road from Ottrott is fairly easy with a harmonious profile. Most of the ascent is through the forest on a wide, well-surfaced road. There is a fair amount of traffic, but overtaking is not complicated. At the top there is a splendid view over the Rhine plain and a very impressive shrine. I return regularly to climb it. Highly recommended climb.... read more

A pleasant climb on a beautiful road with little traffic. The first part is very rolling and the second part is a steady climb.

The route is perfect, the crowds moderate and the magnificent scenery at the top is well worth the effort. The descent is a real pleasure

Ideal on Sunday morning. Few cars and lots of cyclists.

In the afternoon it's mostly motorbikes that use this regular climb with a safe descent. Two tight bends and a nice straight section to let the horses loose and have the pleasure of overtaking the cars.

An alternative that is less used than the other two by cars. After Klingenthal the climb is straight and the road in excellent condition. Very even profile. The climb is less interesting than via St. Nabord, but it is the best side for the fastest descent.
