Very fun and beautiful climb. Renewed road surface as mentioned here. On our cycling weekend, this was the first hill where we went to attack each other. There were 8 of us and our group was immediately broken up. Quite a good hill to hurt each other, but also to just ride up quietly!
Zeer leuke en mooie klim. Vernieuwd wegdek zoals hier al werd aangegeven. Dit was op ons fietsweekend de eerste heuvel waar we elkaar gingen bestoken. We waren met 8 en onze groep werd meteen uit elkaar gereden. Best wel een goede helling om elkaar dus eens pijn te doen, maar ook om gewoon rustig omhoog te rijden!
My favourite climb in French Flanders! Beautiful route, not too steep but tough enough.
Mijn favoriete beklimming die ik al deed in Frans Vlaanderen! Mooie route, niet té steil maar pittig genoeg.
An update on this delightful climb: since 01/07/2022 there has been a new layer of asphalt here!!!!! And that is an enormous improvement!!!! All the way there!
Even een update over dit zalig klimmetje: Sinds 01/07/2022 ligt er hier een nieuwe laag asfalt!!!!! En dat is een enorme verbetering!!!! Allen daarheen!!!
Slope in a green and quiet environment. Too bad about the bad road surface. The Kokereelberg was also on the course of Gent-Wevelgem until 2019.
Helling in een groene en rustige omgeving. Jammer van het slechte wegdek. De Kokereelberg lag t.e.m. 2019 ook op het parcours van Gent-Wevelgem.
Quiet climb in the neighbourhood of Mont Des Cats, definitely recommended if you are in the area.
The climb itself is quite easy, it never gets very steep.
The only disadvantage is that the road could use a new layer of asphalt.
Rustige beklimming in de buurt van Mont Des Cats, zeker aan te raden als je in de buurt bent.
De beklimming zelf is vrij makkelijk, het wordt nooit echt heel steil.
Het enige nadeel is dat het wegdek wel een nieuw laagje asfalt kan gebruiken.
