Done on Saturday 23 July 2022, the profile is not quite complete because to access this climb via Feissons sur Isère you have to take the first 10km of the Col de La Madeleine, which increases the climb by an additional 560M.
Just at the entrance to Villard Benoit you have to take the C5 to the right towards Lachat (which is also the subject of a beautiful ascent detailed on Climbfinder) until you reach the junction with the C4 towards Le Mont de Villard Soffray, follow this road until the end.
The condition of the road is good to average but overall it is OK, some gutters on the final stretch which means you have to be careful on the descent.
The views at the top are magnificent, although I'm from the region I manage to get lost in all these mountains, so I can't tell you which villages and mountains you can see from the top... never mind
