This is easily one of the best climbs to do in flanders, I would compare this as an easier/ less prestigous version of the oude kwaremont, it is a must make sure your equipment is in good shape because it will shake up your bike quite a lot, the only really hard part of the climb is a section in the middle where the gradients kick up, if you want to set a good time here ride a bit under what you can up until these gradients then get over them as quick as you can and then it's all out to the... read more

Dream of a climb. Only the middle part is difficult. Cobblestones are pretty good everywhere and the surroundings are beautiful! So take it easy and marvel at the sloping meadows and forests you cross. Purely in terms of cycling pleasure, better than Moskesstraat.

Droom van een klim. Enkel middenste stuk lastig.

One of the longest cobbled sectors in the region. Fortunately for those who don't like to be shaken around too much, the pavement is (relatively) even. Still, one would enjoy the pleasant surroundings of this beautiful climb better if the surface was asphalted :-)

Nice cobblestone climb. Not too steep except with the exception of the central hump. Steepest part can get slippery in the rain or after showers.

The wet dream of every cobbler.
A long sloping cobbled section with a hard section in the middle.
The cobblestones are in good shape.
A nice alternative to the mosque street
