The first 200 metres of the climb are not paved and I would skip. From the lighthouse, the paved road starts and you first climb briskly up past houses and kitchen gardens. After turning onto the main road (still little traffic), the climb becomes more irregular. After the villages, the road climbs more steadily for a long time.
The views were not spectacular, but for much of the second half of the climb there was fog and it is possible that this is very nice in nice weather.
