The nicest of the two climbs from Sete Cidades. After a bit through the greenery, you have beautiful views of the crater lakes. There is a lot of tourist traffic here, though. The road surface is a bit old and worn, but doesn't drive very badly.
De mooiste van de twee beklimmingen vanuit Sete Cidades. Na een stukje door het groen heb je mooie uitzichten over de kratermeren. Wel is er hier veel toeristisch verkeer. Het wegdek is wat oud en versleten, maar rijdt niet heel slecht.
