The climb to the Mirador del Time from the Barranco de las Angustias is almost exactly 6 kilometres long. It covers 416 metres in altitude, which corresponds to an average gradient of 6.9％. The pass connects the Adriane Valley, coming from Los Llanos or Tazacorte, with the north-west side of the island.
The heat is usually extreme here. There are also many cars on the road as it is the only connecting road heading north. The tarmac of the pass is in good condition throughout, only through the village of Amagar is the surface a little cracked and full of holes.
At the top, there is a great viewpoint, or mirador, with a café/restaurant and a souvenir shop. From here you really have a great view of the entire Adriane Valley and the west side of the island. The lava flow of Tajogaite, which erupted in 2021, can also be seen wonderfully.

Dabei legt man 416 Höhenmeter zurück, was eine Durchschnittssteiung von 6,9％ entspricht. Der Pass verbintet das Adriane Tal von Los Llanos oder Tazacorte kommend, mit der Nordwestseite der Insel.
Meist steht hier die Hitze extrem. Auch sind viele Autos unterwegs, da es die einzigste Verbindungsstraße in Richtung Norden ist. Der Asphalt des Passes ist durchweg gutem Zustand, nur durch das Dorf Amagar ist der Untergrund etwas rissig und löchrig.
Oben angekommen wartet der tolle Aussichtspunkt oder Mirador genannt, mit einem Cafe/Restaurant und einem Souvenir Shop. Von hier hat man wirklich einen super Ausblick auf das gesamte Adriane Tal und die Westseite der Insel. Auch der Lavastrom dem 2021 ausgebrochenen Tajogaite ist wunderbar zu sehen.
The climb begins at an uninviting bend. The actual Mirador de La Punta is a little below and is difficult to access for road/gravel cyclists. The climb is not very spectacular and leads through banana plantations. At the Mirador del Time there is a kiosk where you can replenish supplies.
Der Anstieg beginnt an einer wenig einladenden Kehre. Der eigentliche Mirador de La Punta befindet sich etwas unterhalb und ist schwer zugänglich für Rennrad/Gravel-Fahrer. Der Anstieg ist wenig spektakulär und führt durch Bananenplantagen. Am Mirador del Time gibt es einen Kiosk, an dem man Vorräte auffüllen kann.
