Very nice climb with Flemish Ardennes style. After the easy cobbles come the difficult cobbles and that's when you feel it in your legs!... read more

Nice for the cobbled section as there aren't many climbs of that type in the region.

Here you really imagine yourself in the Flemish Ardennes! The two types of cobbles make it a real winner, just a pity that the road turns into a concrete path (perfectly passable by bike, mind you), otherwise it would definitely have been in the Tour of Limburg. I've ridden it dozens of times, and yet the rougher cobbles at the end are always just too much when I try to blast it to the top.

Some Flemish Ardennes in Haspengouw. If your legs already burn on the small cobbles, you know you'll 'plafonneer' right after!

A climb that starts on fairly passable small cobblestones but halfway up it changes to some rougher cobblestones. Definitely worth planning for.
