Het eerste deel over een klinkerweg langs de huizen klimt amper en de weg loopt pas op bij de kruising. Hier via het fietspad de weg oversteken en dan rechtsaf via twee hellinkjes naar het hoogste punt. Dit deel is landschappelijk wel aardig maar de soms drukke weg ligt wel grotendeels vlak naast je.
