In the lower part there is still car traffic, but without oncoming traffic, but the upper part is only reserved for cyclists and hikers. Mostly good road surface, beautiful serpentines lead through deciduous forest in the upper section. A natural spring may help halfway along. The lookout tower with terrace and catering is the rewarding destination, with a far-reaching view over the Rhine plain to the Donnersberg and the Taunus. The descent into the Mühlbach valley is perfectly asphalted and also a one-way street, so you can take the serpentines sportingly!
Im unteren Teil herrscht noch Autoverkehr, allerdings ohne Gegenverkehr, doch der obere Teil ist nur noch Radfahrern und Wanderern vorbehalten. Weitestgehend guter Straßenbelag, schöne Serpentinen führen im oberen Bereich durch Laubwald. Eine natürliche Quelle hilft ggf. auf halbem Weg. Der Aussichtsturm mit Terrasse und Bewirtung ist das lohnende Ziel, mit einem Weitblick über die Rheinebene bis zum Donnersberg und zum Taunus. Die Abfahrt ins Mühlbachtal ist perfekt asphaltiert und ebenso Einbahnstraße, da kann man die Serpentinen sportlich nehmen!
