A hidden gem for good reason. You cycle through a rugged valley with beautiful rock formations, traces of avalanches or mudslides and at the end a beautiful view of several glaciers. Actually, only the part from the edge of the forest to Pedrossi is serious climbing at the beginning (by 10％). The rest is enjoying the scenery and tranquillity.
Important for the descent: the asphalt is not great in many places. But this climb is definitely worth a diversion.
Met recht een verborgen juweel. Je fietst door een ruig dal met mooie rotspartijen, sporen van lawines of modderstromen en aan het eind een prachtig uitzicht op meerdere gletsjers. Eigenlijk is alleen het deel van de bosrand tot Pedrossi in het begin serieus klimwerk (tegen de 10％). De rest is genieten van de omgeving en de rust.
Belangrijk voor de afdaling: het asfalt is op veel plekken niet geweldig. Maar deze klim is absoluut een omweg waard.
Wonderful climb along the river and later great views through the valley towards the glacier. Not a climb with a fixed gradient to get you into your rhythm, but a lot of variation during this undulating climb. Do not be misled by the steady 3％ in the altitude profile.
Prachtige klim langs de rivier en later geweldige vergezichten door het dal richting de gletsjer. Geen klim met een vast stijgingspercentage om in je ritme te komen, maar veel variatie tijdens deze golvende beklimming. Laat je dan ook niet misleiden door de steady 3％ uit het hoogteprofiel.
