3.0 by SteveLOf the two climbs, Marlin Hill and Hastoe Hill, Marlin is the harder one. The lower section is quite pleasant, and then it flattens out briefly before going into a wooded hollow way. Soon the gradient gets more serious. But on the whole this a good way to climb out of Tring. Perhaps not on "café legs", if you stopped at one of the several good coffee shops in Tring, but still enjoyable, and one of the less trafficky routes out.... read more
