Beautiful climb, nicely winding through the forest, and then suddenly the monastery pops up. At the moment (May 2024), the web is partly blocked off, and can only be used as a climb, and therefore not descended. For us, this ensured that the road was even quieter and traffic could also drive slower.
Prachtige klim, mooi slingerend door het bos, en dan duikt opeens het klooster op. Op het moment (mei 2024) is de web deels afgezet, en alleen als klim te gebruiken, en dus niet af te dalen. Dit zorgde er voor ons voor dat de weg nog rustiger was en verkeer ook minder hard kon rijden.
Very nice, not too steep, but certainly not easy climb. It winds its way up through the forest, past the monastery. But then you are not there yet!
Hele mooie, niet te steile, maar zeker geen gemakkelijke klim. Slingert mooi door het bos omhoog, langs het klooster. Dan ben je er echter nog niet!!
In the beginning of the climb you often have nice views over the water (between the trees). After that, the climb continues through a nice forest. The road was also very quiet in terms of traffic.
And I agree with JHC: nice descent.
In het begin van de klim heb je vaak (tussen de bomen door) mooie uitzichten over het water. Daarna wordt er verder geklommen door een mooi bos. De weg was ook erg rustig qua verkeer.
En ik sluit me aan bij JHC: lekkere afdaling.
Beautiful climb, at the beginning a few times nice view of the valley. Not too difficult, it never gets really steep. At the top is a beautiful monastery. Incidentally, a wonderful road to descend.
Prachtige klim, aan het begin een paar keer mooi zicht op het dal. Niet al te moeilijk, het wordt namelijk nergens echt steil. Op de top ligt een mooi klooster. Overigens ook een heerlijke weg om af te dalen.
