Very nice! Not top marks because there are misleading signs at the start of the climb. Mind you, if you want to get to the Sanctuary (tough but recommended), it certainly does not take the 2km written at the base. The church can be reached by the new road. Both the old road going up to the fork on the left and the new one going up to the right are hard. Much worse than the profile says. It seemed to me to tackle more sections above 10％... The view is sensational. The asphalt good on the new road, the longest, less good on the old.
Molto bella! Non il massimo punteggio perché all'inizio della salita ci sono indicazioni ingannevoli. Occhio che se volete arrivare al Santuario (duro ma consigliato), non ci vogliono certo i 2km scritti alla base. La chiesa è raggiungibile con la strada nuova. Sia la vecchia che sale al bivio sulla sinistra che la nuova che sale a dx sono dure. Molto peggio di quanto il profilo dice. A me è sembrato affrontare più tratti sopra al 10％... La vista è sensazionale. L'asfalto buono nella strada nuova, la più lunga, meno buono nella vecchia.
Climbing to Madonna del Sasso is always worth it both for the view and for the athletic gesture of a 3km climb that allows you to push on and feel rewarded for your effort. The hairpin bends pass quickly until the final tear at the Panoramic Restaurant.

Otherwise the road is fine, not much traffic and not really steep either.
Beautiful climb to the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Sasso. Not a particularly tough climb with a final stretch where the gradient becomes a little steeper. The road surface is good and there is little traffic.
The view from the promontory is spectacular and on clear days you can see City Life in Milan.
For a complete uphill experience, you can start at the Roncallo lakeside, climbing up through the Alzo cemetery.
Bella salita al Santuario della Madonna del Sasso. Ascesa non particolarmente dura con un tratto finale in cui la pendenza si fa sentire un po' di più. Il fondo stradale è buono e il traffico scarso.
La vista dal promontorio è spettacolare e nelle giornate più limpide si può riuscire a vedere City Life a Milano.
Per un esperienza di salita completa si può partire dal lungolago di Roncallo, salendo per il cimitero di Alzo.
